Celebration of the Winter Solstice at the Playscape: December 21, 2013

For our solstice celebration, families explored the Playscape and made lovely sculptures using plant material (dried leaves, seed heads, milkweed pods, twigs) gathered in the Playscape, as well as bark, acorns, seed heads brought by staff from the Musketaquid Arts and Environment Program.  Click on a photo to open a larger version and view the caption.
