Gathering the Community

The Playscape at Ripley will provide a unique, beautiful space for all residents of Concord and the surrounding towns to relax, play, socialize and gather. Its open design will be accessible to all ages – from crawlers and toddlers to elders – and will make the Playscape a destination for the entire family. Community groups will be able to use the green spaces for a variety of activities, while the performance circle will invite outdoor performances. Hikers and nature-lovers will appreciate the clearer access to Gowing’s Swamp trails, while families with strollers or seniors with limited mobility will enjoy using the Playscape’s reinforced textured path. Shady spots, ample seating, and quiet spaces will provide enjoyment and comfort during visits.
